Past Seasons

Two British actors, Jack and Leo, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing scenes from Shakespeare on the Moose Lodge circuit in Amish country. When they learn a wealthy dying woman is searching for her long-lost relatives to bequeath all her money, the down-and-out actors decide to masquerade as her nieces. Enter two lovely local ladies and all goes amiss in a classic comedy of mistaken identity! Ludwig's frenzied antics do not disappoint when the local premiere of LEADING LADIES hits the Los Altos stage.

S. Conner (Stage Manager) After graduating from LaGrange College in 2003 with a B.A. in both Theatre Arts and Spanish, she worked a summer in New York before moving to California. Since then she's remained busy working all over the Bay Area, including Berkeley Rep's Roda Theatre, and three seasons with Festival Theatre Ensemble of the Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival. However, some of her favorite management credits are right here at Bus Barn where she's had the privilege of working as SM for Over the Tavern, Expecting Isabel, A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Chorus Line, The Real Thing, BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO and bus stop. She also serves as the Ed/Rec & Volunteer Supervisor for the Santa Clara Valley Blind Center; working to increase the confidence, independence, and quality of life for the blind and visually impaired.

Chris Enni (Sound Design) has enjoyed working on sound design for the Bus Barn's productions of THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED), BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO and BREAKING THE CODE.  In pursuing his writing career, Chris has had two of his plays produced at the Foothill College New Works Festival - THE MAN WHO MARRIED A DUMB WIFE and THE PUPPET FACTORY.  Before writing plays, Chris enjoyed writing songs featured on television, radio, and video.  And before that, he toured nationally with his band The Cardiff Reefers, which came to an abrupt end when he and his wife decided to have children.  And before that, he doesn't remember much - because of the children.  Chris also plays jazz, popular and classical piano as well as electric guitar in his current band, Bad Daddy (we really aren't that bad).  Thank you for coming to see another great show brought to you by your great local talent at the Bus Barn.

Ron Gasparinetti (Scenic Designer) Ron has designed hundreds of shows over the past 25 years and has been a member of the Bay Area theatre community for a little over a decade. In January 2007, he and good friend Charles McKeithan joined forces to start their own company “THRUST Scenic Design & Construction”. Together they look forward to bringing you many more years of theatrical enjoyment. Ron is a proud member of Theater Bay Area. To see more of his work, please visit www.rgaspar.com.
