Bus Barn Stage Company is a professionally managed, community based theatre company that serves Los Altos and the greater South-Bay area. Our mission is to engage the community and the artists in a shared experience of intimate, professional-quality theatre. |

Building on a groundswell of community support, and with seed money from The David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Los Altos Community Foundation, Bus Barn Stage Company was founded in June 1995 following the closure of the Los Altos Conservatory Theatre. Bus Barn Stage Company was incorporated in August 1995 and received its 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status later that year.
Bus Barn Stage Company has produced more than 60 productions that included hundreds of artists and volunteers with various levels of theatrical experience.

Auditions
Bus Barn Stage Company is a semi-professional company that hires the most talented community actors, and attempts to hire AEA actors whenever financially possible. Bus Barn holds two general auditions per year and casts from callbacks from those auditions, TBA general auditions, and referrals from other theatre companies. Audition information is listed in TBA magazine. Bus Barn does not maintain an auditions mailing list.
Designer Positions, Production Staff
